Fall is my favorite season for a European Vacation. Things slow down, the natives get friendlier as the tourist hordes thin out, and the food is fabulous--the best of it drowning in wild mushrooms and truffles. Then there are the harvest festivals, not to mention that crisp, clean air. We've picked out some interesting tours, both for people who might want to stay warm and those who want to buck the trend by heading north. And then there's even Mom Nature's little spectacles--like the turtles who mate noisily on the island of Kos...
