Even though the islands of Malta have stood in for several cities of the Old World, Malta's culture and unique history are more ancient than Troy or even the pyramids of Egypt. Represented today by the remains of the oldest buildings on earth, the ancient "temple culture" is the Mediterranean's oldest mystery.
The escorted 10-day tour includes accommodations in a First-Class hotel, most meals, daily private tours, live and personal presentations and location visits. The medieval walled city of Mdina, pastoral island of Gozo, and baroque Valletta with its palaces and fortifications will all be included in the program, as well as ancient megalithic structures and a haunting underground Stone Age temple knows as the Hypogeum.
