Europe Travel for Disabled Travellers: Is Adventure Lurking?

Yesterday 65 year-old Russian Vladimir Ksenchak rolled into Madrid at the end of a 3,000 mile trip that started in Moscow. What's so great about that? He did it in a wheelchair. Inspiring? Yep, and it got me thinking about disabled travel.

You see, some important advances in accessible travel have been made recently. The folks in West Jutland have recently begun turning their corner of Denmark into an accessible wonderland through the combined efforts of Danish care-for-disabled organisations and the Danish tourism industry. Their website, DisabledTravelGuide, will show you how easy it is to visit the beautiful countryside of West Jutland.
