Monday September 6, 2004
Looking for something to do in the off season? Well, we have some suggestions
  • Switzerland - Go take a hike in the fall, ski Switzerland in the winter. Need a guidebook? Here are the Top Switzerland Guidebooks you can purchase online.
  • Have a beery Octoberfest
  • Plan an assault on Europe's Christmas Markets
  • Enjoy France by luxury rail--Raileurope is offering their three day first class France Pass for a bargain $199; puchase before November 30th for travel through the end of December. You’ll get 3 days of unlimited first class travel in a 1-month period. Use your savings to go truffle hunting or to order a bottle of fine Burgundy.

And if you want to get a leg up on your European vacation and are planning to include a look at Lance Armstrong's amazing legs, start now with our Tour de France resources. Want to see Lance sooner? He'll be in San Francisco this weekend for the T-Mobile Gran Prix of Cycling, which he's never managed to win.
