Eurostar Floats - London Eye Flies

Sunday November 28, 2004
The Eurostar, a high speed train that connects London to Paris and Brussels, had its tenth anniversary recently. The Eurostar folks celebrated by getting some top artists to paint up a Eurostar power car, then floated it on the Thames River on top of a barge where it passed under the Tower Bridge and past some pretty historic scenery. See Eurostar Floats - Tenth Anniversary of Eurostar Picture Tour.

And if that wasn't enough, how often do you wish you could get a little higher in a city so you could take some pretty cool pictures? Well, hop aboard the London Eye, a huge bicycle wheel in the sky banked on the south side of the Thames with observation pods that send you and your digicam soaring slowly. Take our London Eye Pictures and Information Tour.
