Swiss Rail Travel Gets Faster and More Flexible

Friday December 3, 2004
What do you do to compete with airlines that are practically giving their tickets away? If you're the Swiss Rail Network, you get faster, more comfortable trains and you increase the number of times they run. Besides, trains take you from city center to city center or to the major airports, saving you a bundle of time and frustration over taking a cramped plane to an airport in the boonies. See what's new in Switzerland starting on December 12th, and find out about the many railpass options available in Switzerland by reading Swiss Rail Improvements for 2005.

The best one? I really like this product. It's called the Fly Rail Baggage Option. You check your luggage in at your North American airport, then you don't have to worry about it until you get on your train in Switzerland, because it's been checked through! No waiting for your bags at the airport and lugging them to the train station! You may not even need my tips on packing lightly or packing to thwart wrinkles! It's a new world out there.
