Vineyards--In Paris?

Wednesday December 8, 2004
Paris used to be loaded with vineyards. After all, Parisians used to swill wine with reckless abandon and it was hard to transport--where better to put a vineyard than in your own back yard? Most of them had disappeared over the years, but many are being revived. Britt Karlsson has a photo gallery of Parisian Vineyards, which I found thanks to the essential newsletter, BK Wine Brief.

For more info on visiting Paris, see our Interactive Map, or our Paris Travel Directory. There's even Euro Disney to consider.
