Rail Passes and the Vienna Cat

Sunday December 26, 2004
Worrying about how high the Euro can go? Well, if you order before the end of the year you can get 2004 prices on your European Railpass. Remember, you have six months to validate your pass after you purchase one, so a pass purchased now is good for travel starting in June. For more on rail travel in Europe, see our Train Resources. For Rail Passes, see Rail Europe.

In other train news, a new City Airport Train (CAT) runs between the Vienna airport and the city center in 16 minutes. The trains depart every half hour and tickets can be purchased on board using cash only or round-trip tickets can be purchase online ahead of time on the City Airport Train website. For more on Vienna, see our Vienna Travel Directory.
