Floods sweep across Switzerland

"The area affected in Switzerland stretches from the Bernese Alps to St Gallen in the north-east." according to BBC News. Alpine villages in Austria and Germany were also hit by high water. Trains through the alps into Italy were halted. Three days of very heavy rain was the culprit.

Waters are still rising, although the weather should be clearing after some wet weather in the area Tuesday.
