Of Italian Easter and Marathons

Folks are flocking to Rome for Easter week. The Pope has a full schedule, re-enacting the stations of the cross on Good Friday and celebrating the legendary Easter Mass in St. Peter’s Square on Sunday. Italians are heading to the Maldives, among other warm climes, much to the relief of travel agents and economists.

Maybe there's a thousand reasons people head off to Rome, but Joanie, at 56, reminds us of another one--to run the marathon. She did it. She survived to tell us about it. See My Rome Marathon - Madness or Miracle?!
