Take a Virtual Tour of Evora, Portugal

Evora, Portugal is the provincial capital of the northern Alentejo region. Located about 150 km east of Lisbon, Evora is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and has the second oldest University in Portugal founded in 1551, the courtyard of which is shown on the left.

Since Portugal isn't as expensive as some other countries in Western Europe, I splurged and clopped around town in a horse-drawn carriage without a care in the world. Well, there was a few moments around speeding automobiles that gave me pause...
