So you're walking beside a placid, Austrian lake, admiring the clear waters at the base of tree covered mountains, when you see the letters "FKK" stenciled into the sidewalk. Depending on your point of view, this may be a signal for you to stop, or you might decide to race ahead, ripping the dreaded textiles off your perfectly free body. Yes, we've written about a few things you might need to know about Nudism and Naturism in Austria. Indeed, some things are different "over there."
If you're ok draped in textiles (a textile beach is a fully-clothed venue in Austria), then you might wish to explore other aspects of the culture. You can take a scenic train ride, visit a salt mine in Salzburg, or pig out on pastries in Vienna. You might also need an interactive map of Austria with the best tourist cities and the train routes shown clear as day. Happy travels.
