Lisbon: Tool Around in a GoCar

Friday September 26, 2008
If you live in San Francisco, San Diego, or Miami you've seen those tiny, canary yellow cars topped with roll bars zipping along the byways with a full load of tourists, in this case 2. They're called GoCars, and they're now available in Lisbon and have been available in Barcelona for a while.

What fun! You get a rail pass that shields you against the increasing price of fuel as you go between cities in Europe, then show up and rent one of these babies and let the built-in GPS tour guide get you to the hot spots. GoCars get 60 miles on the single gallon of gas they hold. Find out more about them on the GoCar site.
