Galavanting in Colmar

Galavanting. I like the word. It's full of contradictions. Definitions please:

• 1. to go about usually ostentatiously or indiscreetly with members of the opposite sex (i.e. politicians)
• 2. to travel, roam, or move about for pleasure (i.e. not politicians, unless accompanied by lobbyists and their "enticements" to force political actions usually not in the interests of the peasantry.)

Forgive me my digressions; it's eggnog season.

Now allow me to introduce the website called Galavanting. They will be trying something new this year. They will be broadcasting live from Colmar's Christmas market on December 29th, an extravaganza hosted by editor Kim Mance. It might be fun to watch. They'll even alert you when the time comes.
