I've just discovered Travel Talks, hosted and produced by Craig Martin, where you can have a heaping helping of Craig's Istanbul Memories, or visit a Vienna Christmas night market. These are definitely homemade videos; you won't find them on the Travel Channel or PBS.

I've also dabbled in the craft. You can come to my adapted village in the Lunigiana region of Tuscany and share a virtual meal with me in Eating Amongst Locavores, or you can take a cheap gondola (traghetto) across the Grand Canal, but watch out for the Acqua Alta.
