This afternoon we're stuffing ourselves into the itty bitty seats of those big aluminum flying tubes and hope to be in Frankfurt by tomorrow morning. We'll drive until we see vineyards and stop in Heppenheim, Germany for the night.
I've got a Tom Bihn Tri-Star packed with the technology stuff we need. We'll be giving the bag a real test this time; we're staying in Europe through Christmas.
The bag is also loaded with the book I'll be reading on the plane, Never Trust a Thin Cook, Eric Dregni's cultural oddessy set around Modena as well as a box of No Jet Lag, something that seems to ease the pain of changing time zones for us.
