Twitter is alive with reports of heavy snows in Italy. Here in northern Tuscany we've had nearly 24 hours of the fluffy stuff, a bit unusual. There's even been snow in Venice. Chianti has had quite a bit of snow as well.
To the right is a picture I took from out our side window showing our village blanketed in snow (click it to see it larger).. It looks like we'll not be traveling outside today. Here's a twitpic of our balcony.
Winter weather has stranded 4 Eurostar trains in the Channel Tunnel. This is the second day of severe weather in the UK.
As for me, I'll be staying inside and roasting a Guinea Fowl or Faraona tonight.
