As the sun ducked under the clouds to bath the town of Neive in Piemonte in a Golden light to create an interesting picture, the remnants of Hurricane Sandy were roaring through Tuscany, ripping out the bridge that we would normally take to get home to our Lunigiana digs.
Neive was recently named as one of the most Beautiful Villages in Italy, and we enjoyed a sunny day exploring the town and having a traditional Piemonte lunch--all the while worrying how we'd get home.

Amazing, to think Sandy still packed a punch after traveling so far. I did enjoy this brief glimpse of life in Tuscany, as well as the lovely view of Piemonte. If you could expand a bit more next time, I’d enjoy it even more…:)
