From 29 September 2012 until 25 April 2013 the works in the Van Gogh Museum will be temporarily hosted by the Hermitage Amsterdam while the Museum gets a renovation.
You can walk between the two on a specially constructed 1.4 mile course following a "taut red line over sixteen feet above the ground."
It's all part of Henk Schut's urban installation, which includes "audio artworks, virtual apparitions, text and images, inspired by the letters of Vincent van Gogh (1853-1890)." You can get a free app that goes with the walk. See The Van Gogh Mile for more.
