What's the Weather Like in Europe?

If you're one of the many people planning an off season vacation in Europe, or are intrepid enough to be planning a winter vacation, you might be a tad concerned about the weather. Along the Mediterranean, winter brings more precipitation than summer--and fewer hours of sunlight. While I don't mind a little darkness as I'm eating dinner, you might be happier with intense heat and lots of sunlight so you can frolic in the long daytime.
