Traveling to Sardinia by Air
Sardinia is served by Meridiana, Alitalia, Volare and Air One from the Italian Mainland. Ryanair will get you from London to Alghero's Fertilia airport.
There are airports in four Sardinian cities: Alghero, Olbia, Arbatax and Cagliari.

The Civitavecchia ferries take around 7 hours. You can book a cabin on overnight boats and save the cost of a hotel for a night. Food and drink is available on all ferries.
The Genoa to Porto Torres/Olbia crossing is provided by elegant cruise lines Grimaldi. The prices are not unreasonable.
