Torta di Verdura and its cousin Torta dell'erbe are staples in the Lunigiana

Step 4: Production continues as another lid is heated up to put on the Torta pan. The Torta will cook from the residual heat of the pan and lid, but sometimes embers are put on top to speed up the process.
