Rubens lived here for 29 years from 1611.

The tourist must understand that he or she is viewing the reconstruction of what Rubens house must have looked like in the first half of the 17th century. Rubens house is open every day except Mondays, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Rubens house is closed on certain public holidays. Lots of Rubens' art is inside, and there are gardens to visit as well.
