Vulcania - Volcano Park - Official Site

Vulcania is a volcano park where you can get inside a volcano or head for Puy de Dome at 1465 metres and look down on 80 extinct volcanoes. Vulcania is 9.4 miles west of the A75 Clermont-Ferrand exit near the village of Saint-Ours les Roches, on the road to Limoges.

The Viaduct of Millau: Highest and Longest

Completed at the end of 2004, the Viaduct is one of the recent wonders of the modern world. It is high over the village of Millau, famous for the desctruction of its McDonalds by farmer and Anti-globalisation campaigner Jose Bove (see below).
