Brisighella is probably a town you've never heard of, yet it's packed on weekends with people making pilgrimages for fine food. In summer there's a three week long medieval festival that attracts many Italians and tourists alike.
Brisighella hosts a compact medieval center with a very interesting Via degli Asini - Donkey Street, used as a road through the internal village for donkeys. There's also the fortress Rocca Manfrediana, the Clock Tower and the Monticino Sanctuary to see.
Brisighella is worth at least two if not three days. The nearby town of Faenza, (from which we get the word Faience) is synonymous with fine pottery.
