Cathar Country Landscapes - Pictures of Ruins in Romantic Settings

There are lots of pictures of Cathar Castles on the Internet. I have some of my favorite pictures here. In this series of photographs, I wanted to capture a feel of the lanscape and how the castles interact with it. You'll find all sorts of views, including one from a set of ancient latrines.

In this picture, the Cathar landscape is viewed through the window of the Chateau d'Arques, one of the most accessable Cathar castles.
