Chateau de Peyrepertus is spectacularly situated. Any picture of the ruins and landscape, if taken with care, will be memorable. It's hard to get to though, and you can't even start up the steep slope in the rain--the steps are worn smooth by thousands of visitors and are treacherous when damp.
