Enkhuizen North Holland Travel Guide

Enkhuizen is a port city in the province of North Holland and the region of West-Frisia. Enkhuizen, like Hoorn to the south, was a port for trade in the East Indies, through the Dutch East Indies Trading Company. Today, the town of Enkhuizen is a well preserved example of those early exploration days, and hosts the Zuiderzeemuseum, an open-air museum that reconstructs those days.
