Bigo is the name of a panoramic elevator that takes tourists up for a higher vantage point from which to view the amazing port and the city of Genoa.
Here's how Bigo looks at the Porto Antico, or Old Port in Genoa. You can't miss it. It's part of Renzo Piano's converted ship's crane, one side of which holds up a tent.
For a mere €4 you can go up in the car, which functions like that of Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, making rotations so that you can stand still while getting a panoramic view of the port area. It makes a single up and down trip that takes about 20 minutes.
Photographers will want to size up the windows and pick one with the fewest fingerprint smudges. Then you'll want to make sure you get close to the window to avoid getting interior reflection in your pictures, which you might not notice until you download them and look at them critically.
