Amsterdam

Amsterdam weather is difficult to predict, but there is 2-4 inches of rain expected each month. Temperatures are moderate, the lowest average low occurs in February at 32 degrees F. The highest average high occurs in August at 70 degrees F.

Athens

Athens is parched in the summer and pretty dry in the winter, seldom exceeding 2 inches of rainfall in a month. Summers are hot, while temperatures are moderate the rest of the year.

Berlin

Berlin's temperature is perhaps more moderate than you'd expect, the lowest average low occurs in January at 26 degrees F. The highest high occurs in July and August at 73 degrees F. There is measurable precipitation (wet days) more than half the days of the year.

Brussels

Brussels has a moderate climate, and a little rain each month.

Copenhagen

Copenhagen has less than 2 inches of rain a month, and summer temperatures are on the cool side--the average high is around 69 degrees F.

Dublin

Dublin's weather is extremely changeable, but the chart will help you somewhat. There is less total rain than you might think each month (although the number of days with some rain is high), and the temperature is quite moderate throughout the year.

Frankfurt

Frankfurt is a bit chilly in winter but has moderate temperatures in summer.

Helsinki

More rain the last half of the year than the first. The Average high peaks at 70 in July.

Lisbon

Lisbon is hot July through September, but it doesn't rain much in the summer.

London

Although it can be foggy in summer, the summer temperatures are moderate. Winter is often cold, grey and wet, and daylight is in short supply.

Madrid

A dry climate, hot in the summer, but moderately warm in spring and fall.

Milan

Warm in summer, cold in January and February. Major rainy season April and May.

Munich

Cold in winter, moderately warm in Summer. More rain in summer than winter.

Oslo

Nice Summer temperatures but often wet. Cold in winter. Avoid January and February due to short, cold days.

Paris

Spring is best, You know what they say (and they're always right!) April in Paris. Late July and August finds Paris hot and crowded.

Prague

Best to go in the "shoulder" season: April-June and September. Summers can be hot and Prague is plagued by an enormous number of tourists.

Rome

Rome is hot and crowded in the summer. August can scorch, and much is closed due to vacations. Winters can be nippy, but days are often sunny and bearable.

Stockholm

Quite warm in Summer, avoid January and February unless you like short, snappy days.

Another city best enjoyed in the "shoulder" season: May-June and September-October.

Zurich

Moderately warm in Summer, but that's the time to expect the most rain. The average low in January and February is a nippy 29 degrees F.
