The First Stage of the Lake Lucerne Canoe Route is Complete

Below is a map with blue markers showing of the first three stations on the Lucerne Canoe Route, with notes on each town's station. In the Swiss towns of Brunnen, Rotschuo, and Buochs, kayaks and canoes can be rented and returned.

According to Switzerland Tourism:

The guest receives a detailed map showing the routes and containing other important information such as notes regarding safety and environmental protection as well as interesting facts about the sights along the three canoe routes. The offers address the ambitious sports enthusiasts and adventurers as well as families and other canoeists who want to enjoy a leisurely tour.

The Kanuweg site has more details, but is in German only at this time. MySwitzerland has some information on Brunnen, where hikers can take the "Weg der Schweiz" (Swiss Path), a trail going around Lake Lucerne.
