If you're going to France, a good map is quite valuable. I've used Michelin maps for years, and I haven't gotten too lost yet. Here are some of the most popular Michelin maps of France--some of the whole country, some more detailed maps of sections or regions of France. If you're going to do much driving off the main roads, the detailed maps are essential.
1. Michelin France
Michelin country maps are great for finding towns with tourist attractions and facilities and major driving routes. Get a Michelin regional map (below) if you're going to concentrate on finding real out-of-the-way places and driving on smaller roads in France.
2. Michelin Northern France and Paris
