Mykonos Beach Map
Beaches and more on Mykonos, a Popular Cycladic Island
Below is a map of Mykonos showing some of the most popular beaches. One of them, Paradise beach, happens to be one of the top nude beaches in Europe.
The information icons on the Mykonos map show Mykonos Town (the icon sitting in the harbor, where the ferries land), and Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK), 4 km south east of Mykonos Town, about a ten minute transfer time.

Getting to Mykonos Island
Mykonos Island National Airport (JMK) is south east of Mykonos town. Taxis cost 5-10 Euro to make the 4 km trip. Flights to and from Athens and Thessaloniki, as well as Heraklion, Rhodes and Santorini Islands run much of the year. Seasonal flights from Germany, Austria, Belgium and Italy also land at Mykonos Airport.

Ferries arrive either at the old port (marked on the map) or the new one, 3 or 4 kilometres away from the old port. During the summer, Mykonos is linked with Piraeus by daily ferries (around 5 and a half hours with the standard ferry). There are also frequent connections between Mykonos and other Cycladic Islands as well as with the Dodecanese.

The party animal's favorite beach, Paradise Beach, is south of Mykonos (look for the icon in line with the airport runway on the map). The next beach to the east is Super Paradise Beach, which has some nudity and is called a non-conformist beach by some. The beach to the west is Paranga Beach, where there are a number of bars and a young crowd; you reach it via footpath from Platis Yialos, or by car, bus or taxi-boat.
Psarou Beach attracts celebrities, and thus is very organized. A local bus service gets you from the town of Mykonos to Psarou Beach.
Ornos Beach fronts a fishing village and is the closest beach to the town of Mykonos. Schools for all sorts of water sports are available here, and the beach sports a good view and the vay a gigantic hotel.
Agios Steafanos Beach is frequented by families. It's 3 km north of Mykonos town.
Ftelia beach gets the full brunt of the Meltemi winds from the north, thus is a favorite among windsurfers. Panormos beach to the north is a tranquil gold sand beach with a few dunes.
