Take a Virtual Tour of the Tuscan Town of Pistoia in Italy

By , About.com Guide

Pistoia is a city in Tuscany between Lucca and Florence, but less visited. That's a pity, because Pistoia is worth at least a day or two. It has one of the most impressive Duomo squares in Italy, with the Cattedrale di San Zeno and its bell tower, as well as the impressive Battistero de San Giovanni in Corte.

With its lack of tourists, restaurants in Pistoia can cater to locals; the food in Pistoia is very, very good and probably worth a stop for foodies.

The train and bus stations are outside the town walls on the south side of town, where you'll also find parking at the Pacinotti lot.

Enjoy our Pistoia pictures.
