Path of the Towers in Tournon sur Rhone, France
Looking for a fine walk with views in France? Try the Sentier des Tours!

From James Martin, About.com

In the 16th century, towers placed along the high spots above the Rhone where built to protect the castle in Tournon sur Rhone. Today a pleasant walk above the city will give you excellent views of the Rhone river, the vineyards of Hermitage and Crozes-Hermitage on the opposite (sunnier) side of the Rhone, as well as views of the village of Tournon sur Rhone and its castle.

Take a virtual tour of the area with our Sentier des Tours pictures, then get more information below to help you plan a vacation in this region of France.
