This picture shows the window over the entrance to the Pilgrim microbrewery, where they brew -- you guessed it -- Pilgrim Beer. They brew other types as well, and visitors are welcome to see the brewery before tasting the beer of their choice in the restaurant.
The shield shows a herring and a stalk of wheat. The herring refers to herring fishing, which used to be one of the main industries in Delfshaven. (They also hunted for whales.) The other main industry was the distilling of jenever, gin, for which wheat was the raw material and which was flavored with the juniper berry.
