This picture shows a view of the interior from the entrance, facing east. In 1761 the nave was raised and given a new roof. The roof structure resembles an inverted ships hull, and so reminds us of Delfshavens past as a shipbuilding and seafaring town. Sadly, because the roof is made of wood, it is poorly visible in the picture. The memorial window shown in the next picture is to the left, in the north transept.
