Malgrate Travel Planner - Malgrate Castle and Borgo in Pictures

Here is a picture of Malgrate, the little borgo that's attached to the castle. It's got a couple of little streets with medieval houses lining them, and archways galore. While you can't get lost here, you can loose yourself to thoughts of being back there in the romantic times of gallant knights, damsels in distress, expert marksmen, jovial jousting, plague, inadequate plumbing...

To the right of the archway is the 16th century St. Francesco Church, featuring terracotta works from the Della Robbia School.
