How many butcher shops become tourist hangouts? Dario Cecchini has raised the quality consciousness of foodies all over the world by opening his butcher shop, the Antica Macelleria Cecchini, to all. You can hear him spout Dante, joke with tourists and locals, and even taste his meaty creations inside the Macelleria.
Recently Dario has expanded his empire. He's added three restaurants. One, across from the Antica Macelleria Cecchini, is called Solociccia, or "Only Meat." The others, above his shop out back, are called Officina della Bistecca and Mac Dario.
